Treatment:
During the consultation, Dr. Harikiran Chekuri and the patient decided to utilize a cohesive silicone gel anatomic or teardrop-shaped implant inserted beneath the pectoralis muscle via an incision in the inframammary fold to cover the scar. The surgery was performed as a day-only procedure.
An Overview of the Case:
If you believe one of your breasts is smaller than the other, which affects how you dress or the sort of bra you require to cope with the asymmetry, breast augmentation may be a good option.
Breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgery that helps enlarge and shape the breasts using breast implants or fat transfer. Some women undergo breast augmentation to boost their self-esteem. For others, it’s a necessary aspect of breast reconstruction due to various conditions such as breast cancer.
Breast augmentation may also compensate for a decrease in the size of your breasts following pregnancy or considerable weight loss. It can also be used to rectify unequal breasts following breast surgery for other reasons.

After taking informed consent, the patient was taken for surgery. The procedure was performed as a day-only procedure. The patient recovered within a few days.
Post Treatment Guidelines:
The patient was instructed to take plenty of rest and relax for the first few days following surgery. For the first 24 to 48 hours, the patient was advised to take help from a family member or friend.
Also, the patient was asked to avoid lifting or performing any vigorous physical activity for at least a week after surgery. Moreover, the patient was allowed to take a shower and keep the breast area dry. The patient was instructed to avoid consuming tobacco, alcohol, or caffeine for at least one month after the surgery.
